A beautiful braided dough?

I'd love to see a video on how to do this. I've tried it twice, with a food in the middle, not just the braid of dough for bread. They tasted great, just didn't look how I wanted them to. Or if you can explain the cutting and crossing of the dough. It sounds so simple, yet.....
