@HoliBerry wrote:Just going down to the supermarket lately is totally exhausting.
The store is always so crowded, trying to get in & out of the aisles looking for products.
And then getting to the register & having to pack the groceries, not all of them but, some.
I find it very tiring going to the supermarket. When you get home you sort of just want to sit on the couch & cry - it's that tiring - Oh well, got to eat !!!
Does anyone else feel the same way ?
I swear, going into a big box grocery is giving me PTSD!
From the greeter, to the samples people, the dirty sometimes wet shopping carts! The selections are now so dumbed down that they carry what makes them money, not what you want.
Annoying checkouts where you give coupons, points cards, bottle return slips, online smartphone coupons and I have none. Don't even get me started on ultra cheap plastic bags.

I guess I get to add one more thing to my list of quirks—I really enjoy putting away the groceries! I like having my fresh new things set up in just the right spots, all ready for me to use and eat. ![]()
My "easy job but I hate it" is dusting; it certainly isn't difficult, but it's so time consuming even with the little I need to dust that I do everything I can to put it off, which just makes more dust settled in when I finally get around to it.

The only thing that is not my favorite thing to do in the kitchen is wipe down the cabinets and island. We have cherry cabinets and they never look clean to me. I did just get a Don Aslet product for them and it really makes them shine, so I hope that I start to like cleaning them better.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 wrote:DD went to Wegmans today and came with home with a load of groceries. I hate puttting them away. No idea why it's not like I'm digging a ditch. Is there a simple kitchen task you hate doing for no reason?
I hate it, too. Every time I'm about to complain about it, I remind myself how lucky I am to have food to put away. It's definitely up there in the top 5 things I hate to do in the kitchen.... unloading the dishwasher is another one.

When I'd lecture my dad about his eating habits he'd say, "So far, I've lived to be 93... can you say that?"
Shut me up quick.

@NEvans2 wrote:Yes, @CrazyKittyLvr2 , I also hate putting groceries away. I don't know why, but I do. Now my husband wants to grocery shop with me when he's home. He says " I'll help you". He helps me spend more money than I want to spend, but he does help carry everything into the house. Then he leaves me to put everything away! LOL. We've lived in the same house for 30 years, so I know he knows where everything goes. And@Annabellethecat, I also hate unloading the dishwasher. I shouldn't complain, at least I don't have to wash and dry them!
My husband is the exact same with food shopping....ahhaha......comes with me....throw all sorts
of things in the cart...........does carry the packages inside...and suddenly disappears!!!
At this point....i am just glad i have someone to carry them in .........................

I don't mind unloading the dishwasher, grocery shopping or putting the food away. What I really dislike is putting all the fresh produce away. I like to get everything rinsed or washed, ends and bad leaves trimmed off and put into L&L containers while it is fresh. I want the stuff ready for salad or cooking - I just hate what I have to do to get it like that.

I hate making my granddaughter's peanut butter sandwich for her lunch when she stays over on a school night. How hard is it to make a peanut butter sandwich but I seems like such a chore for me in the morning!

I hate, Yes- hate to clean out and wash down the refrigerator. I did that job yesterday and mumbled under my breath the whole time.
