During the ITKWD slot on Wednesday (tomorrow) night, QVC is airing a special called "Dinner with David & Mary Beth." Here's the program description:

Gather 'round the dinner table with QVC's Resident Foodie David Venable as he prepares a memorable meal to celebrate retiring Program Host Mary Beth Roe.

I hope this won't just be the same old kitchen show with Mary Beth popping in for a couple of presentations, though even that would be very welcome.  Looking forward to seeing how this turns out...

@loriqvc   I do expect there will be sales as well as sentiment, but I heard MBR herself say she was doing a series of 2 hour shows from 8-10 pm this week.

As much as I miss some hosts I've seen for years, as a longtime retiree I also know there is good life beyond full time work.  MBR and those closest to her have earned that.

The secret menu is probably the TSV chicken cooked in an airfryer and sides being sold by QVC to accompany them.

Whatever is being served will be " heat n eat."

Imagine what DV's retirement will be....a special every night for a year!!!

I can understand having several of the pie carriers. How cute are some of those with prints?

I think they make a nice hostess gift, or housewarming gift especially when containing a homemade baked good.

I have five pie carriers and use them all.  Sometimes I use them for pies, but they are great for storing Xmas cookies, muffins, cup cakes and donuts.

I have used them to take chicken wings to a party/picnic.

They are the perfect size for a lot of things. I find a lot of uses for them.

The bunny one was sooo cute.  I have a Christmas one, and a red one.  Use both often.  Pies, cookies, salads, leftovers.  I have gifted these too with a pie, candies, cookies.  I got mine on free shipping days.
