Re: 24 hour Cooking Event Down South......

I flipped over and the TS (11/02) is NuWave Pro 1800W Next-Generation Induction Cook Station with Carrying Case - $99.95 or 5X$19.95 with Free S&H. Item # 375-750.

I decided to order this as I have a couple of trips planned next year, by car, and figured I could take this with me and cook in my hotel room. Save me some money. Have never done induction cooking before but this looks good. I have some Wolfgang Puck cookware that will work with this so I don't have to purchase any additional cookware.

Actually, they so far have not repeated hardly any items, and I saw some items that I have never seen presented......Smile Now, I did see a clip where Robert Irvine said he developed a product line to help you be a better cook, but he has just taken older products that have been out for a looooong while and put his name on it.......Wink

Re: 24 hour Cooking Event Down South......

I ordered the Nuwave in red.. I am wondering if I should have gotten the white as my ceramic stove is Almond..would you all have gotten the white?

I also got the 9 1/2" pan to go with. Last time he was on I did get the small saucepan and it is very nice, has some weight, but not extremely heavy.

They have the NuWave - a newer version today for $99.95. I'm thinking about purchasing it. Does anyone use the NuWave and if so, what are your opinions?

Yes Katie I have the Nuwave - the first version and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. The Today's Special, the Nuwave PIC Pro, is the third generation and will be even better. I do all my cooking on the Nuwave PIC except pasta. The only reason I don't use it for pasta is because my pasta pot is not induction-ready. Besides regular pots and pans I have several stovetop pressure cookers and I use the Nuwave PIC with all of them as well.

I can't recommend the Nuwave PIC highly enough. There are other induction burners for sale, but none have the incredible temperature control of the Nuwave PICs - as little as 100 degrees for keeping food warm for hours and hours if desired up to 575 for searing steaks or other food you want to sear. This is the best price for this Nuwave PIC anywhere. With holiday returns, you'll have 3 months to try it out before needing to return it if you don't like it, but I think you're going to love it. If I were you, I'd give it a try.
