That'sounds about $16/lb.  Seems like so much for 2 rib roasts even if S&H are included.

They don't tell  you the grade of the roasts.  Prime, choice, select?  Makes a HUGE difference in price.  It is "Prime" rib roast but that does NOT mean it is USDA Prime Beef.  They don't tell the grade.  Shame on them!  For really top drawer roasts, not a bad price.  Two 4.5 to 5 pounders?  Good beef can easily be $25 a pound.

Re: $169 -- Are they kidding???

I know a lot of QVC's food prices have become jawdropping but I have to say they have tiptoed from convenience pricing into whatever we can get pricing.  Please know, I used to be in the convenience pricing category and even though I no longer enjoy that convenience holy cats the pricing on these roasts is rather out of control.  Even back in the day I would have thought more than twice about purchasing this product.

I've never felt inclined to buy QVC food products. I think I can find a better deal locally or make it myself. Same with those Omaha steaks.

@Sooner Don't know where you live, but it's sure not $25 per lb here in Minnesota.

Re: $169 -- Are they kidding???

I'm fortunate to live in a big city with much competition, grade "choice" boneless (I prefer bone in) rib eye steaks go on sale for as low as $6.99#, & yes they are delicious.  We always have a rib roast for Christmas dinner, & I wait for the sales, which are usually $5-6 per pound, not prime but choice grade, never had a bad one yet.  So for me q's prices will never be paid.  Btw whoever mentioned about the grade not being mentioned is correct.

Re: $169 -- Are they kidding???

Sorry if I offended some, but where I live, CT, beef is expensive, but the store I shop at usually have rib roasts on sale during holiday time for approx $7.00/lb.  I always buy one or two and they as good and as tasty as what is served in fine restaurants.

It was just my opinion which I thought I could voice here!!!
