I'd love to see some Ripka pieces like the original ones I own w/o all the Diamonique. JR's designs are beautiful, but I don't feel comfortable wearing that much bling.

I have to admit I too miss the older, less blingy pieces.  They actually looked more expensive and classic.

'Don't get me wrong', I love JR designs.  But, sometimes  'less bling is more'.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I'm with you, ladies.

I like my older gemstone pieces and refuse to buy the fake stuff.

I ususally do not care if there is diamonique, but I purchased (J287776) Ripka Sterling 7:00 Multi Gemstone Enhancer.  There is diamonique circling the enhancer.  I think the piece would have been better with one of Ripka rope designs circling the enhancer.  Too much diamonique on this paraticular enhancer.  It looks too fake.  The diamonique stones are too large circling the enhancer.

I'm with all of you on this. Some things actually look good if it's an accent but, this line has gone overboard on it and pricing. I don't buy much anymore, just don't need it but I have bought some of her new Verona pieces, made in Italy, and have a more Euro feel and no diamonique except on her heart lobster claw closure.

But, we have been requesting less diamonique for years. It's not going to happen.

I am so glad to see people who feel as I do!  I hope designers recognize our plight.

I don't want it, at all.  I only wish to wear white topaz, or better yet, genuine Zircon.
