shipping wrong Diamonique twice

On 9/15 I ordered J367416 14K yellow gold ring & when I opened the box the zippy had the right label but the bag contained a sterlling silver ring with a blue stone.  So obvious it was not the right ring but was sent anyway. I called QVC Customer Service & also did chat on line to try to get them to pay attention. All I got was sorry we sent you the wrong item please return it & it will be replace. I believe some switched the rings in the last step before shipping.  Of course the ring was then on wait list! I sent the package back for refund.

I've been a customer since QVC was CVN so I decided to go on the wait list.  I got notice 10/8 that it had shipped & today I got my 2nd order of J367416. The zippy had the right info on it BUT in the bag was J366262 goldplated 925 cz made in Indonesia!  At least it was gold in color!

The good news is that I have never ordered either of the items that were sent to me so it is NOT me returning wrong merchandise.  I'm DONE with QVC.

I can maybe understand one wrong ring even if the 1st was silver, but a 2nd wrong ring and ON THE SAME ITEM ordered?

I'm just going to wait til' it shows up on eBay for less it may take a while but it will show up!

What I think is going on is customers are returning a cheaper ring they don't like and keeping the gold ring that was shipped.  (No one on this board, of course !)  The return people can't recognize that the ring doesn't match the style number.  How this happened twice to one person tells me this is going on much more than one would think.  No one in the warehouse is switching items at the last minute, what would be the point?  I've had this happen with one clothing item in 26 years, but there is much more incentive to do it in more costly jewelry.

One other possibility is a customer orders two rings at one time and ships the unwanted one back in the wrong bag.  So match your numbers on the plastic bags to the packing slip and send items back in the correct bags.

It's been reported there is more employee theft than customer theft.

A 14K ring is definitely more desirable than SS or gold plated SS.

Is that especially about QVC or warehouse shipping in general?  DD works for an Amazon supplier and monitoring is constant, including how fast they are working.
