need gold chain help!!!!

my gd is a soccer nut, plays on 3 teams and is in the olympic development program. well at kmart yesterday i found a14 carat soccer ball charm. it had been 245.00 but it was clearanced for 49.95. HUGE SAVINGS. so now i can afford a nice chain for it. it is substantial so will need chain that isnt "dainty'. any ideas would be helpfull. doesnt need to be from the Q. the vale is large enough for any, i think or i can get a jeweler fix it. any help would be welcomed. gonna go to zales tomorrow to get a necklace& earring set that goes on sale tomorrow. it is sterling and has dangling hearts earrings & necklace. it is usually 129.00, gonna be on sale for 29.99. i think it will be great set for a 15 yr old. pretty, but i wont be heart broken if it gets lost. look it up please and tell me if you think it is approiapate,"sp" thanks so much nascar fan
