? about ceramic watch

Hi all -- I don't think I've ever posted on the jewelry board but I have a question I'm hoping you can help me with.

I'm looking at a watch in a local jewelry store that has a ceramic bezel and the center section of the band is ceramic. Is the ceramic durable or do you have to baby it?

The watch I'm looking at is fairly expensive (at least for me) and I really like it but wouldn't want to only wear it for special occasions as I rarely have them.
