I ordered a very nice Zircon band ring from JTV, I ordered Monday and received it Friday.  The ring is very nice 2 rows channel set 1.53 ctw. Rhodium over sterling silver  Zircons are small and sparkly.  18 of them. This is my second Zircon ring.  My first one I purchased from Shophq from Michael valitutti.  The Zircons are bigger in that one.  I like that one too.  The one from JTV is under 50.0.smileyhappy:  Do any of you like Zircons?

I wish they'd use more zircon and less white topaz as accents in rings.  Zircon is more more sparkly and rivals diamond whereas topaz is a far cry.

Is this the same a the cubic zirconian of years ago?  My mom had a cubic zirconian ring years ago and it was really pretty.

No Zircon is a natural gem from the ground.  Cubic Zirconia is the man made version

 @spumoni99  @sunshine 919 No. Cubic zirconium (CZ) is NOT the man made version. CZ is zirconium dioxide (ZrO2), zircon is zirconium silicate (ZrSiO4). CZ is a synthetic oxide, like synthetic corundum, and zircon is a naturally occuring silicate mineral.

I do like zircon--I just got a blush garnet band ring with zircon accents from JTV that is lovely--those zircon sparkle like crazy. would like a band of zircon to go with it. My daughter has blue zircon earrings that are pretty too.

What color did you get? Zircon comes in a rainbow of colors. My fave is the blue variety and second is the red. There is also green zircon but that is the rarest.

Zircon blue is very different from topaz blue, and I love it.

I bought a ring from a estate jewelry store with a center rectangle and a surround of diamonds.  All in yellow gold, even the diamond prongs.  A bit to large and delicate for everyday.
