Yo! -9/17/11- US Constitution signed, 1787

Good morning and happy Saturday to us all.

Glorious autumn day out there, with the sun shinning brightly and very cool temps right now (55F). Supposed to warm up a bit next week, but for now I'm loving no a/c and the cooler temps.

My DBGD has survived another week on my taking care of her. It's a good thing that babies don't have any basis of comparison or I'd be in a lot of trouble. She is trying in the worse way to talk, and soon it will happen. If she were in a crib I believe that she'd be turning over by now. Each day I place her in the crib for "gym time" and yesterday she turned herself 360 degrees in a matter of minutes. When I've used the crib as a secure place for her while I must do something, I've come back to see her on her side, but not quite all the way over.

I said to DH at dinner last night that I can't remember the clear delineations of development in our two boys. Of course I remember each new thing, but because I was teaching full time, taking care of my family and other activities, I just don't remember the nuances of development which i can clearly see with DBGD. I guess my retirement time makes all the difference.

Twp spccer game witht he older grands today, unfortunately with overlapping times. At least they're at the same field.

Off to get laundry begun before I begin my soccer.

Make it a great day!
