Good morning & happy Saturday to us all. Weather has finally turned human. The humidity has temporarily left. It seems like ages since I last posted. The time has gotten away from me. So I am writing this on my iPad instead of sitting at the desktop computer which I would prefer for longer typing. Did I hear someone ask why is that Kappy? I can't sit at the computer for too long b/c I put my back out and the Advil is helping only a little. And did I hear someone ask how did you do that? I did it by doing virtually nothing. I bent over to pick up a small container of Wen and that was it! Gracious! Such discomfort from doing nothing. DS#1 is not doing so great. His progress has slowed to nothing as we await improvement in his hemoglobin. It seems like he cannot get cut a break, not one teeny tiny break. DH is really exhausted from being the primary care giver for him, as I do not have the strength to lift around his 230 lbs. of dead weight. Baby Girl is a worry as well. She had her first doctor's visit on Thursday and she has lost about 10 ozs. of body weight. DBGD goes back to the doc next week. Of course the weight loss, coupled with her jaundice, would be a worry in itself. But b/c both parents are carriers of the gene for CF, and weight loss is one of the first signs of it, I am in worry-land. I haven't discussed this with anyone, not even DH. I know that worry is a useless task. I wish I could figure out a way to turn the worry part of my brain off. I hope that everyone is enjoying watching Gem Day. To the degree of watching the Q breaks my "boycott" (and the iPad will not allow me to write buy! There must be a way to over ride this, but I'm still too new to the iPad to know.), I have broken it and am watching frantic Rick right now. But no buying for me! I'm still ticked off at the attitude of the Q toward EPOD distribution. What do you think of the TSV? Off to read the paper. Make it a great day!
