Good afternoon and happy Sunday to us all.

Already a little past noon and the temp is 88! I think we had two days, maybe, of spring.

Sorry I've been AWOL for the past week, but I have been so busy that had a broom been strapped to my waist I could have swept the floors!

Last weekend DBGD was here, overnight, from very early Saturday morning until Monday afternoon. While it was a joy to be with her for such an extended time, and to share in the delight of her bathtime, it was much, much more exhausting than I anticipated. It was DS#2's weekend to have the baby from Thursday through Monday. However, more than a year ago he had committed to being in his college roommate's wedding, in VA; it would be a three day affair. DS#2 took off from work Thursday & Friday & returned by noon on Monday in order to spend time with her. The in-between time fell to DH & myself. Daytime was busier than usual, but in a routine. It was bedtime when things got emotional for her and she had great difficulty sleeping, which meant I got little to no sleep. Thankfully, the regular time of care giving during the week settled into our normal routine.

Things have been dicey for DS#1 and there were doctor appointments galore. The surgeon, who operated on me and is highly regarded, could feel his hernias but declined to operate. He wanted DS to rest and hope that they resolve themselves, since surgery it more than the normal big deal for him because of his many health problems. He is feeling a bit better and we hope it continues, but with I'm you just never know.

We had a big family wedding last night. It was a happy, lovely time. But the prep work to get to the wedding, trying on tuxes and gowns and coordinating jewelry for me, was a major time consumer. I am struggling to keep my eyes open today. Smiley Happy

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the treasures from the last visit; I know I am.

Off to fold laundry.

Make it a great week!
