Good morning and happy Saturday to us all.

For those in the upper Northeast I'm betting that this isn't the happiest of Saturdays. They sure got dumped on by the nor'easter and many people are without power. And don't forget about all of the victims of Sandy who are living int heir homes w/o power. The temp is dropping and the wind really picking up. It's brutal out there. I hope everyone is safe and warm. We got about 5 inches of the white stuff, much less than originally expected.

All week the DBGD has been if, battling fever and a terrible URI. With all the coughs into my face and food, I think you can guess what coming next. Correct. My head feels like it is going to explode, and my throat seems to have scratchy sweat socks dancing over its surface. Oy! Thank goodness Miss Judie isn't here this weekend; don't know if I'd have the stamina for it.

Lots and lots of things have arrived from last weekend, not all keepers. When I can sit at the computer without constantly reaching for tissues, I'll write reviews.

Off to some tea, paper and laundry.
