Yellow Gold/White Gold

I wear both and as much I love both, I was liking the white gold just a tad more. Well now I realized that I like the yellow gold earrings that I have better than the white gold, and I like the white gold/Sterling Silver necklaces that I have better than the yellow gold. Does that sound weird? Also my taste must be changing because usually in the summer I like to wear white gold, but lately I've been really wanting to wear yellow gold or two tone earrings.
