Re: XO TACORI Lab Grown Diamonds - October 30

I have some Tacori earrings from way back when. They were known for their unique and a little extra and elegant detail. Mine are pearl earrings with

a small touch of diamonique? They are very pretty.

I think it's kind of a shame that they have reinvented this brand with lab grown thousand dollar diamonds.

@on the bay @Are you sure your earrings are not pearl and diamond? Up until recently TACORI only sold genuine diamonds. Maybe they did something special for QVC and used diamonique

@Janey2,

They weren't real diamonds and were sold on QVC years ago and then not at all. They weren't very expensive, maybe under $50 back then. If "Tacori" and XO Tacori are from the same company. Their jewelry was very identifiable I thought.

@Pyrite2616,

No, not those. Mine were smaller with not as much silver and sparkle. If I knew how to take a picture on my phone and put it here, I'd show youSmiley Happy

Lab diamond prices are mainly governed by the high-priced equipment and high-energy demands used to make the rough. Maintenance and operational costs of that equipment is extraordinary.

What's happening with Moissanite. I really like it but it never seems to be used by designers presented on the Q.I bought a ring previously offered on qvc with a triangular 1ct stone which I really like.  It doesn't get cloudy and maintains its sparkle.

I always loved Tacori designs but couldn't afford them.
