Help! A couple months ago I purchased the white agate diamond cross for many reasons--one being to wear this Easter. It was gorgeous when it got here...I wanted a cross, a white/white pendant and it didn't hurt that the shape was prominent in my favorite movie "Dragonfly"! It was special and gorgeous in all ways. However, when I started getting my outfit together today...one week before Easter...the two smaller of the four white agate pieces had started turning brownish/gray. On the front it appeared to start under the diamonds and "bleed" outward. The backs are just discoloring all over. QVC has said they would refund or exchange it even though it is past 30 days. That is awesome, but I really want my pendant! Is this a normal occurence for white agate or something that only happens once in a great while. I'm deciding whether to opt for the refund or the exchange...I only want it if it will stay white (the brown isn't natural streaks...it's discoloration...was solid white when it arrived). It has been in a nice jewelry box with other nice pieces...not exposed to anything that would do this...it hasn't even been worn! I would love some insight into this...I'm so disappointed that I can't wear it on Easter!
