Who is the new person representing Judith Ripka on air? UGH. She doesn't represent the line well and is a real turnoff. I thought Judith's DIL Allison or son filled in for her?

It is strange that they book Judith for so many hours that they need to use alternates. Especially as it's billed as ""designer"" jewelry. Hagit Gorali flew in from Israel to be on air for two hours at 6 AM.

Hi GraceCO,

That was Beth with Jane. She works with Judith and Beth is very knowledgeable with all JR's pieces. I have no idea where Allison and Brian are?? However, Judith will be on at 11:00am this morning.......see ya later

Enjoy!!

I like Beth. She is a Sr. Vice President of Ripka. I think she does a great job talking about the jewelry. She is Judith Ripka's right hand person and with the firm for 10 years. You cannot expect Judith to be on all day and all night. She should be allowed to sleep and eat. The hosts only do 3 hours at the longest.

Geez. From a branding standpoint, it's an interesting move to bring in a new person--a non-family member--to represent the JR line. As a customer, it's a BIG turnoff and makes me think they're taking their very loyal customer base for granted. Judith IS the brand and seeing her son or DIL fill in for her makes sense. I think "Beth" is very ineffective--I won't be watching JR when she's on.

Looking forward to seeing Judith on air later today.

I think Beth does a fantastic job of representing Judith's line. She knows everything about each and every piece produced. I, personally, enjoy watching her present the pieces.

Poor Judith is just over worked and can't get her butt out of bed. I have posted about this before. She should be ready for an 8:00 show. Most vendors with a TSV manage to do this. She just assumes her name will sell her jewelry and it probably does. As you can tell I am not one of her fans. Over priced and too much diamonique.

One more issue about Beth. For a national audience, she's way too regional in her demeanor and accent and that's a real turnoff. And, BTW--I'm born & raised in the NY area.

I agree. I feel like we're being taken for granted. I understand they have many shows scheduled, but it's not every day and you'd think Judith, Brian and Allison could power through it for just a weekend. Honestly, it can't be that big a deal to show up.

What a senseless, needless comment.
