What style of necklace is most popular now?

I don't go out much any more, so I don't see a lot of people. I was just wondering - is there a particular style of necklace that is more popular these days?

I mean, for instance, there have been times when large, heavy necklaces have been in fashion and other times when very dainty, small ones have been.

I have noticed on t.v. that rather simple necklaces are being worn and often a couple at a time. Often, one simple chain and then another a bit longer with a small pendant.

Any thoughts?

I love jewelry of all kinds and just wear what I like but I am curous!

I wear what goes best with my outfit. I don't worry if it's in or out of style. Most of my jewelry is traditional in design.

I wear what I think fits the outfit best, or often I wear only my standard daily necklace. It's a diamond baguette diamond halo surrounding a floating simple gold disk with cat pawprints, I almost never go without it.

Of course, everything is in depending on the outfit, it may be colorful, bold pieces, or dainty or bold fine jewelry.

@AngelPuppy1 In terms of current trends...

I still think dainty fine jewelry, particularly yellow gold is still having a moment. Draped pieces in 2's or 3's seems to still be quite popular with all the fashion YouTubers I follow. I love the look. I currently have been wearing 2 draped...a simple one at my neck (from 40 years ago)..16" snake chain with diamond at the center, and a longer dainty chain with a St. Raphael charm that was my mom's...both yellow gold.)

I also think paper clip, and other elongated open links, dainty or bold, yellow gold, I'm seeing occasionally too. Sometimes layered with other dainty necklaces.

I love all kinds of necklaces. I generally match my outfits also but I get lazy and don't bother half the time with wearing one. I really should as I am constantly reminded by my overstocked jewelry case of how many pretty ones I own! I am going to work on getting better at this.........anyhow, I don't give much thought to what's in style as I have my own.

@amyb Is that a Heidi Daus set in the 2nd picture?

@LindaSal Not Heidi Daus...both pics I just pulled off of Etsy pages.

I too have so many necklaces and jewelry, in general....I do switch out with different outfits...sometimes...then...like now...I go through phases where I'll wear certain ones, gold or silver...stacked or not...with every outfit for a while, because I want "that particular look" for a while. Wear your necklaces!
