Did you watch yesterday's Gem Day? Did you have a favorite show or two or three? Did you treat yourself to anything?

I tuned in and out all day and evening until bedtime, missed the last 3 hours however. Jewels from the vault = window shopping as I noted on someone's post from yesterday.

Having seen many of the shows, my all time best show I thought was by far, Joel Schechter and Terri Conn with stunning pearls by Honora. It's so good to have Honora back, Joel is such a delight talking about pearls and now his gems have paired up with the best, the Italians created some of the most stunning pieces, and affordable.

Terri is one of a very few hosts that is a true delight to watch her shows regardless what she's presenting. Terri and Joel complimenting each other so well in this (only) one hour show. Designs were great, so new and exciting in world of pearls.

So I had to pick up the 15" sterling neck piece and the floating Ming pearl. Can't wait to get this one in my collection.

I loved the Vault show, especially the blue tanzanite 5,000 ring.  Not in my budget.  So I ended up with a Robert Manse scrollwork ring and the 2 pairs of studs.  I watched pretty much all day, when DH wondered why I wasn't up doing anything, I just smugly said "It's Gem Day."  Frankly I wonder how they did, only one of the TSV choices sold out.  Etc., etc.

@depglass   I wanted only the white topaz pr of the duo set of studs. I have a few of the other colors, what I don't have I didn't want.

I too enjoyed the Honora show.  I just love my Honora pearls I purchased in the past.

I actually liked just about all the shows yesterday.  Some more interesting than others.......I was being quite unproductive as I have a bad cold so it was a good couch potato day for me.   I did not purchase anything though a few items I wanted to, but I stuck to my guns.   Enjoying CIJ for now and then Colleen Lopez is on with her fashions on HSN this afternoon, another fun day Smiley Happy

How could I forget the three stone apatite ring?  I guess I better buy a lottery ticket or two.  Did anyone notice they seem to be training new jewelry hosts?

I watched some of the videos with Peyton Kelly. I love listening to him. He seems so enthusiastic and excited about what he has found.

Though everything he does seem to say he searched for years, and no more to be found, or they told him don't ask again.

Still, I like listening to him and learning about all the different gemstones.

I have more than I can wear in jewelry so now I just like to watch occasionally.

@depglass  I have a lab created Apatite ring in sterling silver bonded with 14K gold.  I think I bought it at HSN years ago.  Looks just like the one shown on Gem Day but was no where near that cost.  One of my favorite rings.

I enjoyed the Honora shows.  The first one I saw was with Rosina Grosso.  I thought she did a lovely job. Joel said she made a special effort to prepare for the show, and it was very apparent.  She provided information on the jewelry, and was a good model, along with Brenda. She gave Joel plenty of time to provide the information that he loves to share.  He enjoyed working with her, I believe.  The show with Terri Conn was also enjoyable.  She has a good rapport with Joel.   I saw some of the other shows, and all were pleasant to watch.
