Re: Watch Collectors... June 2014

Hope all of you are enjoying your Sunday. Smiley Happy

Watch Once Onlys scheduled for tonight and tomorrow.

At this time it looks like the Scuba with dive case will be reappearing as a Once Only again. So that price won't go only lower than what they sold it for.

I also see Renato pieces and the JT Lady Zeus scheduled. I would skip the Renatos and go for the Zeus if you can.

Java: I'll have to recheck the line up. Thanks. Didn't see any of that good stuff when I looked yesterday.

You know, there was a subtle change in the wording to Watch Celebrating featuring Once Onlys

After tonight, you may see price changes, they might not be Once Only.

Oh....before I forget:

This week jomashop has flash sales on Movado and Fortis watches. If you are looking for the classic Museum Watch ( and some people love those), they are offered at $219. I haven't seen prices like those on the Museum Watch in a long time. A caveat to those with large wrists: you will need to purchase another strap, because they are rather short on that watch. Anyone with larger than a 6.5 inch wrist would have to get a larger strap. Plus, you might want to anyway, because the straps on those aren't great to begin with.

Re: Watch Collectors... June 2014

Last Friday, I was at my Dr.'s office's imaging place for an MRI & I was wearing my purple Android Star Halo. As the tech was showing me to the changing room to change into a gown, she noticed my watch with the halo twirling around & was saying how cool she thought it was. Then, as I was coming out of the changing room in my gown to head to the MRI room, she & the other female MRI tech were standing there waiting for me & the 1st one said "You have to show her your watch, I told her about it & she wants to see it, too!" So, I had to unlock the door to the changing room (they give you a key & you leave all metal items in there while doing the MRI) & show her the watch & she was having fun making the thing spin around inside it before they took me back for my test. I thought it was kind of funny! I guess that watch is more eye catching than I thought it was, as I had totally forgotten I was wearing it!

Aub, such fun when others love your watch. Good luck with the MRI also. Maybe I should still own a purple Halo. Smiley Wink)

Jena, if the price was right & I wanted a particular color combo, I might consider another one! It's not like I can feel or hear it spinning, so it doesn't bother me. It's a fun watch! I almost can't make it spin if I try, but it does so with normal movements.

The MRI is sort of a routine thing, though I haven't had one since 2011. Back in about 2004, when i still lived up in WA, a neurologist ordered an MRI of my head & neck for another reason & the radiologists found a mass about the size of 2 peas that they think is a cavernous hemangioma sitting smack on the optic nerve behind my right eye. It's never bothered me & they said it may have been there since birth, but they wanted to get an MRI annually to watch it. It's never shown any growth in all these years, so it's probably just a benign thing, but they still want to keep an eye on it (pun intended!) My doc should get the MRI results tomorrow they said.
