I love rings with big center stones, whether they are real or faux, but they look terrible on me.  I have very small fingers and hands and they just overpower me.  I remember when we were looking at engagement rings, DH kept wanting me to get much larger stones, but they looked silly on me, and didn't feel comfortable!  Both of those rings are lovely and from the pictures you can't tell which is real and which isn't.  Of course, in person, I'm sure you could tell much more easily!!!

@SharkE  Mine is graded high in all the "c" categories except "clean". It's been in the safe since the workers have been here repairing the house for months. I should have cleaned it better before the photo.

@ECBG  I don't CLEAN it with dishwater. I meant I've had Diamonique rings on doing dishes, etc. and nothing's happened to them...no loose stones, no clouding. I treat them like diamonds.I do however find Dawn dish soap the best diamond cleaner...with a toothbrush.

If you have small side stones (mine does and the wedding band is an eternity band with same matching stones), toothpaste tends to get stuck underneath or between all the prongs.

Yeah, you got your VS2, VS1, SI, I one. Then , you got H-I color, J,

Nobody has 'D' color that's for Liz Taylor and wives of sports heroes. LOL

I like baguettes on the side. My wedding rings have round stones they're dated now  hahhahaha because I'm 'old'.  If I was gonna marry again I'd go with baguettes like the one on the top.

I  want that pink diamond everybody is talking about hahahhahahahaha

I'm  sure hahhahahahh

I think they did a good job with the center stones but not the baguettes. That is a difficult cut. It still looks nice and a good deal.

@Shanus

I like the shape & style of the bottom ring more.  I also think the stones are more realistic - but, admittedly, they do look close.

I think that, if there's any visible difference, it's due to the quality of the photograph; it's a little blurry.

Without looking at the replies and if the question as been answered my guess would be the one with the baguettes is the fake one.  Not a fan of that type stone.

I am pretty sure I've mentioned this before.

So my friend and I eat lunch out almost every day.  We never go far.  We each drive to the destination and then we each run errands.

Anyway, I can't tell you how many times waitresses have commented on how beautiful all of my jewelry is.

They go on and on talking about it (this was before COVID).

I wear rings on the ring finger and the pointer finger.  I also wear a lot of bracelets and earrings.  Often I wear a necklace.

Everything has to be the same color as the outfit.

But usually the diamonds are fake (QVC).  Most of the time the colored stones are real but I think most people think the diamonds are real.

The funny thing (but not ha ha funny) is that my friend I'm sitting across from wear the real deal!

Her diamonds are real.  Her colored stones (i.e. ruby, emeralds, etc) are all very real.  She buys her jewelry from a jewelry store.

I think (for the most part) people are attracted to my jewelry because it's always way bigger than her's.  Sometimes her stones are so small you can barely see the stones.

My point?  I think most people have no idea (how would they) a fake stone from a real stone.

I buy what I like.  Putting on my matching jewelry is my favorite thing to do.  I have boxes and boxes of rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches.

Most were bought on QVC and/or HSN.  I used to buy jewelry set in gold way back when they sold jewelry in gold.

But for at least the past maybe 7 years, I have bought very little set in real gold.

I'm really hard on my jewelry.  That's one reason I don't wear my real diamonds, etc.

I stopped buying the expensive jewelry set in gold, etc. because my 3 daughters don't wear much jewelry.  My granddaughters (I have 5) don't wear much jewelry and even if they did, mine is way too big and gauzy for them.

When I let them pick some of it, they always go for the small Diamonique ones.

I could never have some of the jewelry I have were it not for fake (errr excuse me Faux) jewelry.

It makes me feel good when I leave my house all (painted up) with my matching jewelry.

After all, with my back pain and fake knees, I have to do something to make me want to leave the house.
