Re: WATCH COLLECTORS--MAY 2014

Welcome Irishrose, glad you found us. Hold on to your credit card, because we love watches and get quite excited when we find a treasure. Some of us are great enablers. Smiley Wink). Last week I grabbed a Once Only #626-349 and was thinking afterwards that I should have ordered 619-634 instead. Well today it arrived. I am really pleased with this morganite watch in SS and the stones down the bracelet really are attractive. I really thought I would be returning it but it's a keeper. It was right on the minute (and hour) when I opened it, no plastic plug under the stem. A good thing, at least the movement was closed from outside moisture etc. no chrono's on the dial, LOVE IT and one stem on the right side. A very uncomplicated great look to it. I'm a happy camper. Smiley Wink). The little diamond chips on the hours really do sparkle. The morganites have a hint of blush, could that be the rosetone. Probably. Limited edition 71/1500. A lot more to be sold. Probably at a better price than I got. I bet they sell less than Once onlys down the road. $188.65!!!! Did anyone else here pick up this buy??

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS--MAY 2014

Jena,

Congrats on your watch. Prices won't jump lower than Once Only on shop. If you want lower, you have to buy on the Sunday Run probably. Clearance prices will be higher on this watch. It's makes no sense, but that's how they play their game.

irishrose: Someone sent me a 42mm Heather Watch by Fossil. It's on a strap nut very fun and feminine in all kinds of colors. You might be able to wear that one since the dial or --"face" as you probably call it--is large. Because it is round with tiny lugs, it's very feminine and there are places you can obtain a longer strap if you have the lug size. I know someone with a 7 inch wrist can wear it. I will check

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS--MAY 2014

Hi if anyone is watching the Dooney show now at 8pm on saturday, can you help me identify the watch Lisa is wearing. If it is the C watch then that is not in my price range but if it is something that will be coming up in her collection then it will be more reasonably priced. If anyone has any info I would appreciate it. Love the look on this one.

Hey Diva. Welcome. I watched Lisa on the Wen show and I don't recognize her watch. I like it very much and I'm wondering also now what kind it was. Someone may know and post later.

Hi jenagal! Thank you for the welcome! I'm sure someone will know; if not, it isn't a big problem. I usually like the tank style but have round face watches as well. The watch she had on just seemed simple and had a nice white face(atleast that's what it looked like). Thanks anyways :-)

Fashion: welcome to the watch collectors thread. I caught a glimpse of the watch, but not long enough to see the details. On another thread someone said it was a Cartier Balloon Blue. Someone else thought it might be a Gossip copy. Guess we will find out over time.
