Hi all

I have been busy.

aub, sorry the Bone Collector didn't work out.Invicta seems to make a lot of watches that one can't read. ( Thinking of the Speedway. Totally illegible dial, but decent watch.

Judiging from what I see from evine and other retailers, it looks like watches are continuing the trend downwards. Love my big watches, just glad to see a few more 34-36mm popping up. That is a great size for just about anyone.

This has to be a mistake, because Swiss is not even on the dial. Take a look at the price.

If someone out there is looking for an inexpensive classic timepiece, check out the S. Coifman. A very petite size at 24mm Not Swiss.  But with 5ATM water resistance and a flame fusion crystal, that make someone a really nice spring watch that they can wear everyday and not worry too much about it.

Some S. Coifman pieces are Swiss Made. Guess Invicta has dumbed them down. It's under $100. You get what you pay for.

Good catch Java. I'm guessing that's actually a Swiss parts movement. You think?

Thx Aprimo. Oh I'd love a blue Manta but it will have to be at a better price.

I think it is. They have offered it before. Also, look closely and compare against the Bone Collector.

It is essentially the same watch--which makes the Bone Collector pricey. Same size with Swiss Parts movement.  Given Invicta's proclivity to keep recycling, I am probably right.

Right now,  SW 200 Swiss Automatic Pro Diver, once only,  636-474, under $200, 40mm.  For the collector,  a movement of interest at an excellent price.
