@Lavenderjunkie wrote:Jena: since you have the watch in your hot little hands.... can you tell me about the bracelet length. From the descriptions, it sounded like it would be shorter than average. I know your wrist is tiny, but mine isn't. I have always wondered in the watch might be too short for me to slide over my wrist bone.
LJ, I have a large wrist (7 - 7.25", depending on the day) and the TM Blue Mantas do fit me with a small bit of wiggle room, but not a lot. The bracelet just barely drapes over my wristbone but it won't really push up my arm. It basically sits right on my wrist with enough room not to be snug, but it doesn't allow for too much movement. Part of that is due to the stiff shape of the bracelet and part is the circumference is just on the small side.
Basically, you can probably live with it if you LOVE the watch. But if you like a watch to have a good amount of play and the Blue Manta design is not an absolute must-have for you, then you may want to skip it.

Jena: I'm going to tell myself this watch is perfect for you but too short a bracelet for me. That way I can stop obsessing.

Hi all!
Jena,
Nice watch! I am jealous!
Tomorrow is July 1. I will try and start the thread on time. Life has been really crazy and my mind hasn't really been on watches.
When I purchased my Technomarine in 2008, TM used G-colored diamonds. Since Invicta has taken it over, who knows?

Aprimo, are you saying you wear this watch without sizing it? I can see that. It is so structured, and I like it being snug. No wiggle room for me. I've hated bracelets for years because of the drape. But when I discovered the. Ripka cuffs, they were right up my alley. I've louped Invicta diamonds before that were cracked and very dark. TM diamonds are known for nice diamonds and I hope looping mine doesn't find any. It's not like you can find a slew of them to pick from.
Yes. I have two Blue Mantas, one that I think is about 40mm and another that is maybe 38mm. The bracelet length is the same on both and I wear them both without sizing them. I think if I removed even one link they would be more snug than I would like.

Java, good to hear from you again. You are staying way to busy.
While watching the video showing the presentation of this TM ceramic, they say it's grade G diamonds. That's all I have to go on. Nothing written. The prongs are hand set and so far I see all great looking diamonds. It's running right on time, so it looks like it will be a keeper. I really do love it. I've chased this watch, both the white and the black it seems forever. It truly is beautiful. As scare as this one is, I'm wondering where it will show up again. It always seems too.
