Java:  I hate it when they dumb down the ladies size watches... either in design elements, or movement, or place of origin.  It's one of my pet peeves. 

I also get really annoyed when they bring out a higher end woman's watch and then put an inferior movement in it.   Yes,  I know it's my prejudice,  but if the watch is selling for $500 or more, it should have a Swiss movement, not a Japanese movement made in Malaysia.  Of course,  I'm referring to the diamond dial Speedway.  Nice looking watch,  I certainly didn't need it.  Based on the movement,  it was an easy decision to pass it by.

Over the weekend I got another one of those special sale emails from ewatches.  It must have caught me in a good mood because instead of automatically deleting it,  I checked it out.  You know the rest of the story.... I ordered another Karamica.... white ceramic/GT with diamond bezel.  I couldn't resist for $149.   Now I'm waiting and wondering if the diamonds will look nice enough for me to keep the watch.  I know,  I was weak.  I don't need another diamond watch,  but at that price..... 

I did resist the next email I got and passed on the diamond bezel ceramic Bella for the same price.  Nice looking watch and good specs.  It was tempting too.

Have all the karamicas with the diamond bezel, they were like potato chips back in the day! Now I am loving for the all diamond black....hmmm....anyone see a deal on that one. Oh and by the way...mine were never at 149.....I would have bought all of them at that price😍

Terry:  well,  if you have them all,  I'm hopeful that the diamonds will sparkle enough.   I know you have some magnificent watches in your collection.  The white/GT was the only option at the sale price.   I don't know if they even have stock on anything else.  If I see an all black/diamond,  I'll raise the flag for you.

I just checked worldofwatches to see what they had in Karamicas.  The same one I bought... white ceramic/GT/diamond bezel is showing at the same $149.99 price.

The Swiss made 40mm automatic pro diver is back down to $217 on evine.  The GT blue and the GT/white are available.  SW200 movement.  630657

I'm happy to report that my diamond bezel Karamica arrived and it looks very good.  It was factory shrink wrapped, and running to the exact time of day.  I took off the plastic on the bezel and the diamonds looks good.  I haven't louped them, but they are all white and clear to the eye.  I'll remove the wrapping and check the bracelet tomorrow.   This looks like a keeper.   I hope it doesn't start me on another collection!

I am very pleasantly surprised by the look of the diamonds.  I lucked out and got a good one.
