Re: WATCH COLLECTORS.... APRIL 2018

Java:  I was pretty confident your were on top of the security issues regarding handbags/totes in NYC.  I almost hesitated to bring up the subject... I didn't want to rain on your excitement at having found 2 stunning new handbags,  and you are a seasoned NYer who knows the drill.

I'm glad you take care and have found solutions to make you and your valuables safe. Thank you for sharing some of the ideas...   It's been a while since I've lived in NYC  and I've forgotten some of the issues.  like 'begger money' and separating cash/credit cards into multiple places.   Big city living can present very different challenges than suburban living... although there are people who want your goodies,  no matter where you live.   So it makes sense for all of us

to be aware.   And open top handbag may be very safe sitting in my car,  but in the supermarket it's exposed whether the store is in a city or a little town.

Enjoy your new handbags.  I'm in the middle of the seasonal handbag switch.  I think I have enough handbags to last me until the year 3018, regardless of where I live. Smiley Happy  But I am still tempted by some of the newer Dooneys I see on QVC.  They seem to be bringing back some of the colors of Florentine.  I miss that rainbow they used to display when QVC presented the small Florentine satchel.  And I'm glad to see the older Florentine styles revived along with the newer ones.  Every leather has it's place in a handbag wardrobe,  but color and fine leather have my heart.   I will probably be buying more handbags before the turn of the century!

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS.... APRIL 2018

No rain on the purse parade! No worries!

A few reminders from time to time are good things. On a daily basis, I see lots D&B, Coach, LV and MK bags. None of them what I call inexpensive and paired with $$$ smartphones. This is a different NYC. I knew the tides were beginning to turn when I once saw a woman wearing a Chanel bag dangling offer her shoulder. Even if this is a different city, I still take precautions.

It's good to think about different elements while I'm in the "kicking the tire" stage. I really love the Amelie/Amelia bag.

As I type this, I am wearing my beloved Deco Clone and marvel at how well this watch has held up. It's the perfect size and can be worn for either dress or casual occasions.

It's been 10 years, I think. Worth every penny.

Invicta has brought out various versions of this watch, but never as good as the original.

Isn't that way of most things?

If anyone out there is into the special character Baby Lupah sets, this is the time to purchase. Some of are at $39.99. That's right where the price should be for these. There is also a pink Abyss at $59   656-367.

I am loving the Bolt automatic elegant. It's 42mm, but I like it.

Macy's going to have its F&F sale qute soon, just in case anything catches anyone's eye.
