Vintage QVC jewelry designers

I was just on e bay taking a walk down memory lane, looking at some old QVC designers KJL, Edwin Pearl, Lee Sands, Joan. those were the days I really enjoyed watching QVC.

Some of the stuff is going cheap and some bringing a pretty good price. I have a lot of Joan's and KJL pieces that have many color crystals you can interchange, and some other stuff I never wear.

Some are really classics like the KJL lipstick pin, or the apple pendant.I have a really pretty caged heart pendant from Edwin Pearl that always gets a compliment as does the lipstick pin. I have a few inlaid pieces from Lee Sands too.

I have a friend who will sell stuff on e bay for you for a % of the $$, so I think I may part with some of what I don't wear anymore, as it's only taking up space in my armoire.

@151949.  OMG, I could have written this post. I remember those days on the Q. For years, I had this beautiful Joan Rivers 36" bead necklace with pinks, browns, and different sized beads. Really loved it until it broke a few months ago. I checked eBay and sure enough, there it was! I couldn't believe my luck. My armoire is filled like yours, and someday I may have to part with those pieces I don't wear anymore.

I do not think Erwin Pearl was on for very long, but I thought his stuff was lovely.

@151949  just be aware that you have to set shipping charges AND ebay gets about 12.5%  of the sale price and then your friend gets something, so what you end up with will be greatly affected.  My son usually gives free shipping and it bothers me as that can get expensive. .   Good luck to you if you decide to sell things.   I do remember the old Q and those great vendors.  Think things are about to shift again as many vendors seem to be on the phase out list.

Re: Vintage QVC jewelry designers

there are other places to sell online

fees are part of the deal to get rid of stuff, without the website we wouldn't reach millions of people I don't have an issue.   it's money for stuff that wasn't doing anything at all

Judith Jack, I have pin that I got as a gift and never wore,  hmmm need to find it and move it along

Re: Vintage QVC jewelry designers

I sold on eBay for a while myself.

That was when I was working, it got tedious.

Maybe I should do it again now that I'm retired.

People who offer free shipping are not really offering free shipping, that cost is built into the cost of the item.   They most likely start the bidding at say $6.00, depending on the item and never ship overseas.

eBay makes it easy, once you make a sale, you can print off the shipping label

I don't care , I'd be getting rid of stuff I would otherwise just donate to the church's thrift store. I will be happier when the things that are so far out of style that I don't wear them are gone. Nothing I'm selling will be any thing of any real value - just fashion jewelry. This stuff was nice in the 90's when styles were more flashy, some of it was nice when I was working, just cheap mystery metals and glass or plastic so if something got lost or broken - no biggie. Anyway - it's no longer useful to me.

Some of the nicest vintage look jewelry I ever purchased on Q, years and years ago, was a collection by Loni Anderson. The pieces were copies of fantastic vintage jewelry Burt had given her (they were still together...that's how looooong ago it was ) and I still treasure them and they look beautiful...like $$$ vintage items you would love to get at an estate sale. You can still find a few pieces of her line on ebay..... if I don't get there first. lol
