....why it's just $327 a day! Why you'd spend that in a month on coffee and a danish.......

Unless that ruby was graded as exceptional quality that price is way too high. And given the fact that Thai rubies lack of fluorescence and silk inclusions, they are rarely rated as exceptional.

I think I'll wait until it becomes a Lunchtime Special. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

When I saw this presented with Alberti last night, I couldn't see ANY hint of blue at all; it was all black. Kanchanaburi sapphire has a nice saturated blue hue (my favorite color of sapphire). This piece here looks like what it was once called MIDNIGHT SAPPHIRE:

QVC Price: $564.00Clearance Price: $399.00
5.00 ct tw Kanchanaburi Sapphire Cluster Ring 14K Gold - J271214

Yikes, really! That would have been a stunning ring if the sapphires were appropriately blue.

My birthstone is Ruby so of course I went to buy one {#emotions_dlg.devil2}. When I put it in my cart it said they don't do anything over $9,000 and the order had to be placed by phone. Of course I did it only to see what would happen as it stated order up to 5, I wanted to see if they really had five of these in stock as it is supposedly rare, etc. What a joke, I would think only a Burmese ruby would be worth that much and only because they're illegal in the US.

You can't order the ruby online. The Q only processes orders under $9,000 without calling customer service. {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

I tried to put one in my cart.

I missed the presentation. Did they actually sell any? Does anyone know? I'm kind of shocked to see them even offering something like it on QVC.
