Gotta stock the gift wing for Christmas, so I'll take a half dozen. They make wonderful teacher gifts...

HA HA It always cracks me up when one of the hosts says that a $100 item would make a great teacher's gift!

I'm pretty sure that everyone here knows I'm no expert, but that seems really high to me for that ruby. That's my birthstone, and while I have a lot of ruby jewelry, most of it was gifts from my husband. I dunno, I'm pretty sure you could get a better deal at a B&M store.

I agree that years ago, value vision had wonderful gemstone deals. I don't recall his name, but there was an Indian gentleman who sold diamonds and gemstones set in 14 and 18 kt gold. I have a few of his things including a wonder 7 ct princess cut tennis bracelet. That thing sparkles like no body's business. I also have a wonderful eternity band with rubies and 2 cts of diamonds set in 18k rose gold. I think that it might be a Sonia Bitton piece, but I really don't remember.

How "generous" of them to offer free shipping. If you can afford to purchase this item, you should be able to also afford shipping. How about offering free shipping on every item presented during the show.

ok, so I take it all back. Did anyone see the $120,000 ethiopian opal that JTV was selling the other day? OMG

I'm thinking that's got to be a consignment item, meaning they can send it back if it doesn't sell. No buyer that liked their job would risk this.
