Re: UltraFine Silver Today's Special Values

Sterling silver that is worn constantly does not tarnish because silver jewelry moves.  It rubs against your skin and it keeps it  polished. But you should still try and not get it wet either. Water and jewelry (even solid 14k-18K) will wear better when it doesn't get wet.

Incorrect. Moisture  causes sterling to tarnish. After wearing if you keep it clean and dry in a sealed packet/jewelry box, it will not tarnish.

Whoever is making UltraFine for QVC is upping the amount of copper in the alloy, because now, the last 3 pieces I've purchased are developing a brownish/orange tarnish: the copper.  My jeweler has a silver expert on staff and he broke this down for me. And I take impeccable  care of my jewelry.

I've been buying UltraFine when it was .999 silver--that's when it was unbelievably gorgeous..

All 950 pieces are marked "Milor," and Rick mentioned the Italian company shortly after Midnight. Some 950 pieces have been made in Peru. Armbrust made the .999 silver in Providence, Rhode Island.
