Turquoise Lovers

I just saw this over at HSN and I do not like this direction that Jay King is going in. I hope this is a one off and he continues to sell sold turquoise. This is backed in obsidian and looks to have resin over the top of the turquoise pieces. Anyway, what do you think of it?
