Although I was really tempted, I couldn't pull the trigger on this collar for my new dog. She's the first dog I've had for years that doesn't have a hairy neck, so you can actually see her collar. However $79., + S&H was a bit much for a collar.

Wow, the first one is a bargain. I found this on eBay, for a mere $150., but it's sterling and real turquoise. Nothing is too good for my dog. Of course she's lost 2 collars this week.

I'd worry about real leather, turquoise and silver on my boy, he sees the river and dives right in!

Etsy has a nice selection, I like this one for a girl dog with simulated turq. at $46.

My boy relates having his collar removed to bath time, so to keep peace in the family I only remove his collar for his bath.
I shop Etsy a lot, did you find a collar?

SANNA, I bet they are very, very small. I bought similar earrings in opal and was extremely disappointed at the size.

Kathy, I'm going to order the collar from Etsy but I think I'd better wait a bit. She is extremely thin and recently had a litter of pups. I'm feeding her as much as she'll eat so she'll be putting on weight (getting spayed next week) so her neck size may change.
