It’s midnight here and I was checking in on the show.  All of a sudden they showed a couple of coyotes running across the screen.  Apparently they were on the golf course behind the set. The host was a little startled, but they carried on.

Chuck has some beautiful rare stones.  I'm loving his African aquamarine and the Champagne garnet.  I like different things.  The prices aren't bad either.

I broke down and bought SB earrings by Victoria.  Lovely, see if I like them in reality.

Hello all, been catching and recording segments of this weekend's shows.  I get that its the Southwest and I like turquoise but do you ladies think that the shows are more dominated by turquoise than they were last year?  I have a lot of really fine SouthWestern pieces already so just sort of in the mood for something else.

When I was 9, my neighbor took me & a friend to a big gem show in our state.  I honestly didn't know what it would like before I went.  I loved it.  She bought us a couple of nice quartz.  They were pretty.  I kept them for years on dressing table in my room

Going to a gem show is on my retirement list of things to do...in addition I would like to attend the annual Santa Fe Indian Market in August.  Someday...

Anybody make an other purchases during the Tucson event?  My husband wanted to get me a Valentine's Day gift and nothing really wowed me until I saw Chuck and Kellie Ann's Snake and Skull show.  This was the show I almost skipped because skull jewelry is too odd and trendy for me. LOL. I ended up getting two snake pieces.

The first is the two toned heart and snake pendant with red spinel. The second is a two toned snake, white zircon and black spinel bracelet. They really wowed me and I cannot wait to get them. Go figure.

I picked up a few Sleeping Beauty Turquoise pieces (from Victoria Wieck and from Chuck Clemency.)  I love that color and clarity of robin's egg blue in an opaque gemstone.

the SB turquoise in both those lines were lovely....I was hard-pressed to decide...enjoy them.  I may reqret not getting turquoise this year...so many sell outs!  You have to pretty much decide on the spot and go for it!!
