I just glanced down at my wrist and my new silicone watch was almost two hours behind! The little minute time was moving, so I knew the battery wasn't dead. I pulled out the stem and advanced to the correct time and will continue to wear it for the rest of the afternoon.
Come on now. A brand new watch should have a brand new battery, right? And a brand new watch with a brand new battery should run for a year without needing to be replaced. My other Ripka watches have yet to need a new battery and I haven't even worn this for a week.
I am kind of ticked - - no pun intended - - and absolutely will not pay a jeweler to replace a battery on something so new. If the watch continues to lose time, I'm going to pack both of them (pink and white) and put them in the mail tomorrow.
So sad.
And I do love them....
