The best DD ever

This evening while making my dinner my DD called and said that she wanted to treat me to a movie and/or dessert or coffee. She said that she knew I'd been going through a lot lately and had been very stressed out with all the changes at work, my paycheck has changed so my finances are now different and other things going on in my life. She said "Mom you deserve someone to treat you." There wasn't a movie playing at 8 or 9 so we decided to go into Alameda, a small town near my house, to our favorite ice cream place and I got a hot fudge sundae! Two scoops of mint chip with hot fudge, whipped cream and nuts. No cherry tho, don't like cherries. After that we walked up and down the main street looking in the shops. We both love browsing in bookstores so we stopped at one and I found a book I wanted. Then we went to Starbucks and had hot chocolate and then I came home. It was so nice to spend some mom/daughter time together. We don't get much of that when she's in school and working cuz she's so busy and her free time is so limited.

Just wanted to share what a wonderful, thoughtful, special daughter I have.
