I had one in the early 70's, but I only wore it once or twice.
It got in the way and got caught on things like my long hair if I went to brush it out of my face...

I say "NAY" !! I remember this type of bracelet being popular when I was a teen in the mid seventies. At that time it was referred to as a "Slave Bracelet". I didn't like either the name or the style back in the seventies, and I don't like it any better now. At least the old name hadn't survived along with the annoying style.
