Judith keeps saying the ends of the pearl lengths do not open up - how do you join the two pearl lengths together with just the 2 loops of chain if they don't open? They look like they have the crown on those links that Lisa mentioned last night - that the ones with the crowns open. Also, has anyone figured out if the pearls are knotted in between?

I had exactly the same questions! After staring at the close-ups, I'm thinking that one of the lengths doesn't open, but the other does...so when she said that they don't open, I think that she must have been referring to just that one. The pearls don't look like they are knotted to me.

Thanks Weatherfield. You are probably correct - one end on each pearl piece opens.

If you go to the TSV item # - and find this first picture - enlarge it - it looks like the Pearls are knotted.

And if you watch this Video ""See the Looks"" that is also found when you look up the Item #- Judith was not correct in saying that those Pearl ends do not open - both ends of one of the strands open.

The links with the little "crowns" all open up---that is what Lisa told us during first presentation. When I look at the ends on the pearls, they do have "crowns" and they would have to (or at least one of the pearl strand would have to or otherwise you could NOT link the two pearl strands. May she means that the pearls stands don't separate into smaller segments. I agree, it is confusing. I am going to email Beth and let her know and maybe they can clarify on the next showing---if there is another showing, that is.

The add-ons are available now. There are some chain inserts, three different bead inserts to replace the pearls - green aventurine, green chalcedony, and lapis. Those inserts range in price from $220 to $455, and for the chain inserts, it appears that the featured price goes away tomorrow. I don't recall any of them being on easy pay.

And I do not believe the pearls are individually knotted. You can tell it when they show the pearl sections closeup on air.
