Another watch? Do people even wear watches anymore?

I most certainly do! I must wear a watch, just like I must carry a shoulder bag, or I just don't feel like myself. LOL. Do I need another watch? No. Personally, I prefer wearing all metal watches as I wouldn't want to have to replace the watchband in addition to the battery. Replacing batteries is enough of a chore. I would love for Judith to design an all metal watch with a Swiss made automatic movement. Now that would be something.

In the meantime, I will enjoy wearing the Chronograph and the Regent watches. Love them.

I love watches. I have maybe 30 of them. I don't care for any of JR's watches. I did get the email but I don't like the leather band. If I want to know the time, it's easier and quicker to look at my wrist instead of pulling out a phone.

ITA. First of all I do not walk around with my phone permanently attached to my hand. it's in my purse. If I want a time check I am not going to dig it out to check the time.
OMG, I love my watches and, I too, find it much more convenient to glance down at my wrist than pull out my phone! Not only that, but watches are pieces of jewelry and I wear them as such!

It's a beautiful watch! If I were getting it, I'd choose purple. I wear a watch every day, and also just don't feel quite myself if I don't have one on-- kind of like earrings. But I usually wear the silver chronograph, and now I try to give the blue double wrap watch some play time. I have a few other watches too, and think I wouldn't wear this one enough to justify the cost. But, I see a JR ring I am thinking of getting this visit, so it's all good.

I do not think I will be buying this particular Ripka watch. I already own 4 of them. This one is not calling my name.

PPM, are you going for the Black Spinel Cuff with the Multi-gem cabochons? I thought of you when I saw it. I love it, and in years past I would have grabbed it in a heart beat, but it's double what I am willing to spend on this show.

I still wear a watch when I am out in public. (I would never think to look at my cell phone for the time)

I will not be wearing this watch.

I really like this watch. I have some of her others and like them as well. I'm thinking of the brown. It should go with everything although given the number of watches/colors I have I really don't need one that goes with everything since I switch them every day.

I love it but I'm not getting it, too high for me. We're getting ready to move and will be spending a couple of months in a hotel, etc. I would have grabbed it too, but those days are over for me.

Remember the black enamel pendant and earrings that some of us thought looked like Russian jewelry? Came out a few years ago. I think they'd go perfectly with this cuff. I bet it's 10 times prettier in person.

I did order the new amethyst cuff though but that might be it for me. I think I would have gone for the watch if it would have been offered in pink too.

I just posted in another thread that the brown version is stunning and more ginger than I thought. Judith put a pic of the brown one up in her new blog. I'm just sad there isn't a white one. Enjoy it!
