Received my ring, my regular size is a smidge tight, but not objectionable.

Can anyone else report if the stone has the flat side facing upwards? I don't have it with me today, but when trying it on last night, I noticed the face of the stone is flat in the setting - the facets are on the underside. Is that the design of this setting? Maybe mine is defective.

Hey Moto, mine is still in transit.  I will review when it arrives.

Has anyone received the matching necklace yet?  Can't wait to hear about it.

On mine the facets are facing up. I bet yours is defective.

Thanks for letting me know,  My poly interior bag has one of the rectangular labels that I think I've read before indicate a returned item.

Sending it back for exchange with a note in the poly bag and in the box as well.

@moto  I have noticed on my ring (which arrived today) that the table (flat surface on the top of a stone, just in case you didn't know) is very large.  The faceting on the top of the stone is closer to the edges, but there is a lot of faceting on the underside of the stone.  I think this is the way it is supposed to be.

I ordered, cancelled, and then reordered this ring and I'm so happy that I did. I got the peridot because I've been looking for a peridot ring for ages that had a decent sized stone.

The rings is fantastic and the stone really good. To clarify an earlier poster, the table of the stone is large, so it looks flat in the mounting, with the facets underneath. That's how it's supposed to be I think.

The ring fitted me fine. I'm a smidge under a 6, so the 6 was perfect.

Lovely silver work too. This ring looks so much more that $59. I now wished I'd ordered more colors.

I'll be interested to hear opinions on the matching pieces.

Hello again Moto, I just received my ring.  I agree with Faeriemoon.  The top of the stone is flat and the facets are around the flat part..  I think your ring may be Ok.  That being said I love this ring, it is substantial without being heavy.  I ordered my regular size for my middle finger and it is a bit snug but not uncomfortable.  I think if I had ordered a size up it may have been too big.  Anyway I am keeping this one.  I have the Maderia Cetring.  I like the way the ring looks with the stone goingup or down.  Very nice design.

well, color me confused.

Thanks all for the info about the large table on this cut, but mine is  like 98% of the top surface, so I think I will exchange and try my luck on a replacement.
