They are pretty, but for that kind of money you could go to a retail jewelry store and get a large size diamond instead of so many smaller ones which is why QVC sells these kinds of rings.

For $1100 you would not get much of a single stone , especially set with all those side stones. If that was a half carat in the middle and the side stones were the same & all were the grade of the TSV I would think that ring would easily be $4000 to $5000, and that is conservative. Probably much more.

I liked that ring a lot and I'll get to see it up close and personal in July.  My friend's son bought it in yellow gold, pear cut as an engagement ring for his girlfriend.  Smart kid, he ran it by her mother before he bought it.  She loved it and assured him that her daughter will love it too. He plans to formally propose at their family 4th of July party.    They've already talked about getting married a year from now but she thinks he's waiting until next Christmas to buy her a ring.

I also thought the pear or the round were the classic styles. Hope his girlfriend loves the ring! QVC really upped the ante on their items throughout the day. Love the quality of the 14K and 18K. Was delighted to know the quality of the stones being shown! Finally, the Q is telling the buyer what "eye clean" and "GIA quality" means to them. It means a lot of difference things to different people, we are finding out.
