Sundance Jewelry

So I recently purchased a ring from their catalog and it's very unique. Everything they sell they claim is made in the USA. I happen to be in a store over the weekend in our area, an upscale establishment with lots of unique items, and I saw the same exact ring. It was over $30 less but they said it was made in Thailand. So I inquired Sundance about the designer, and their response was "we can not provide that information at the request of the merchant." I thought it odd because why would a jewelry designer not want their name known.

Do you think they are lying about where the jewelry comes from????
