While many of you already know how bitterly disappointed I was with the labradorite pieces, that was only one part to my buying frenzy of Miss Judi's last visit. Here are reviews, although I'm still waiting on some things.
truffle necklace - It is really beautiful, in a non fussy way. Each station is a treasure unto itself, with a tiny amount of DMQ enhancing the filigree art work. The beads are of varying sizes. It is lighter than some of the almost all metal 36" necklaces from JRQ, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Problem is that I'm unsure if I will keep it. I pulled out 6/36" necklaces of similar structure, two without DMQ, and I don't wear them often enough to have a good PPW on them. So I don't know if it is cost effective to keep this beauty also. If you do not have a necklace like this, I do highly recommend it to you.
garnet earring - Holy cow! What a sexy earring in a smaller package! The glow from the garnet seems to smolder and twinkle a the same time, adding to an all over glow around your face; in my experience this does not always happen with garnet. The DMQ is so tiny, but does add a certain additional sparkle. The metal design, with the flowing rope and open work is excellent. The pierced earring is very comfy. Love it!
Capri earrings, pierced - Stunning! They are much smaller than the ombre earrings, and it seems to be perfectly situated. The combo of the two hues of blues adds to the different levels of sparkle on your ears. These were a retread earring, but in very good order and I got them on clearance. Fortunately for my CCs, the necklace is no longer available, although I don't know how much use I'd get out the matching necklace. I do envision wearing these often during the summer, and not just for dress up. Comfy. Love.
pave band ring - Gorgeous! The metal work on this baby is outstanding, with rope texturing and pierced out areas making for a textural delight. I don't know if I'm keeping it. I wore it all day yesterday and never felt comfortable with this amount of DMQ on my finger, although I have a gold and diamond band in a similar size. Maybe it was the sparkle from the perfect simulated diamonds that threw me off. The ring is wonderful, but I just don't know if it's for me, as I await the 2 carat 100 facet solitaire to arrive. I must have some screws loose of something.
GQ monaco ring - Slap my head and call me Kappy! WOW! Those of you who have a Monaco ring know exactly what I'm talking about. WOW! After getting all three of the ombre earrings I finally took the plunge into the Monaco sea of rings and what a stunner I caught. This is perfection. The color of the GQ, and the complimentary DMQ on the shank is fabulous. The balance of the ring on the finger works, even though it's a big ring. Can't think of any other superlatives at this early hour. LOVE IT!
gold metalic wallet - I got this b/c I need a new wallet and this was smaller and it was on sale. Lovely construction, great leather. But it seems too small. I'll give it a test run just to make sure, but I think it will be returned. Really very pretty though.
