Some hosts should do a little homework before presenting items...

Caught Kerstin L. in the early morning hours selling peridot jewelry and really she should not be hosting jewelry presentations. She was showing a bracelet with a double lock clasp and she showed the locking mechanism but had absolutely no idea whatsoever how to open the clasp. She said "oh well, it really does work somehow and you can figure that out when you get it home." Really. The entire show went like that ... she's either not comfortable presenting jewelry or was not prepared. She put a ruler up to a cross to show the measurement but really was usesless because she didn't even put the ruler from the end.

I guess maybe she only owns bangles or stretchy bracelets.{#emotions_dlg.unsure}

Maybe thats why she is on in the wee hours of the morning. Maybe she needs more experience.

She's been around long enough that she should know that. I've seen her many times. She's a lovely young woman. She is very, very laid back though, good for early morning hours.

Maybe she was just tired. That doesn't surprise me, I've seen her say and do things like that more than once.

It doesn't matter if it bothers you or any of us. (It doesn't really bother me though). What matters is if it bothers the people who hire the hosts. Obviously, someone thinks she does a good job as she still has one.

Maybe she was just having a bad night.

I saw that show, but I thought that was Stacey Stoffer.

I know what you mean but on the other hand...I like it when real things happen to real hosts. If they are totally perfect blah, blah, blah, then it isn't as interesting to me anyways. Not that I want anyone to majorly screw up but.......

The other day Bob Mackie was showing an item and they were all horribly wrinkled, never seen anything like it. He commented on it and Sandra Bennet (I think that is her name) handled it really well, apologized for that happening and moved on. The really good hosts can handle the flubs quite well.

Wow, that gal is a terrible host. I realize she's new, but really...

I watched the video for the peridot tennis bracelet -- it's not a flub, she clearly didn't know how to open it. Bizarre.

auto-correct thinks peridot should be period. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Horrible presentation on the bracelet. Clearly she was not prepared.
