I got the Michael Dawkins first purchase in today the ring that is silver with the mother of pearl setting and the ring was scratched up and the setting was cracked.........it is such a beautiful ring and it was on sale for $99........so I have to send it back and order another one........I so hope the next ring is in perfect order but they said they only check if something has been returned twice...........then they will pull it and look at it and make sure its perfect before its sent out. This ring should have been put in the rubbish can not mailed out again. Boo hoo.......I love the ring.

Wow, I've never heard that they only check an item that's been returned twice. That speaks volumes and is absolutely ridiculous. Every returned items should be checked, though we know it isn't... It really makes you wonder why we have to include a return slip indicating why we're returning. If they don't care about checking supposedly defective items that sort of says all we really need to know about quality control and would explain why so many folks report receiving clearly returned items... That's sad.

In my pantry with my cupcakes...

Well, there are lots of reasons to return something ... cost, fit, etc. I can understand not checking something the first time.

When it says damaged they should have checked it......you can tell it has been worn.......it was all scratched up.

Quality control occurs after manufacturing, not after a return. Obviously, it's impossible to check every single item.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

Maybe no one marked it as damaged. Maybe it was a simple return for refund.
