Sizing question for July 4th TSV ring

I need some info from you ladies who wear Carolyn Pollack pieces, especially rings. Even though I wear a size 4 ring, I ordered the turquoise TSV ring in a size 5 because I thought it was so pretty. Carolyn doesn't make rings in my size (at least, I've never seen one) so if this ring is too large for me, can it be sized? Sometimes the hosts say that sterling rings can't be sized, or should only be sized by experts, and that most jewelers can't do it. Does anyone have any experience with any of these issues? If so, I would love to have your input. Thanks so much!!!
