Good morning to all our CP sisters...

Juggie and I had a scary weekend...along with the rest of our family...

Most of you know there are four sisters in our family...I am the oldest and Juggie the youngest with two middle sisters in between (we are a total of seven years apart.) Sister #2 who is 59 had a heart attack during the night Friday night...what a shock to us all. She is doing well, recuperating nicely after two stents and one to be inserted today. My DH and I drove down during the night Friday to be there for her and her husband, and we've all visited with her Saturday and Sunday. I'm so relieved to share that she is recovering beautifully and will hopefully be home tommorrow or Wednesday.

She has some changes ahead for sure...diet, exercise, new drug regimen...so please keep Sister #2 in your thoughts and prayers. We would so appreciate that sister support!!!

Please also keep in mind that this can happen to any of us...she had jaw pain and saw two doctors on Friday, including her cardiologist. The EKG was ok so they sent her home...perhaps if she had a stress test or blood work that day they MAY have seen the severely blocked artery...remember to be your own advocate, because women's symptoms are not always taken as seriously as they could be..
