I recently resurrected a diamond and tsavorite ring I bought in 1983. The diamonds are good quality and have plenty of sparkle. The tsavorites are dark green and dull as can be. Is this the norm for this stone? The was an expensive purchase and I'm considering getting those stones upgraded. But I'd like to know if that's possible before I take it to a jeweler.
