@Lynneuk   There's no excuse for that! Sorry that happened for your anniversary gift. I hope they not only refund your money, but offer a coupon or something. Be sure to use free shipping for a return as it's definitely damaged.

They SHOULD refund you completely, then as a courtesy, go through that stock of old watches and send you a pristine one gratis.

That is just horrible!  The worst I have ever seen!  What a huge letdown and disappointment!  I feel for you!  They really better make this up to you in a big, big way!!!

@Lynneuk  -  In the first picture, was the box broken like that when you received it?  Is that rust?

Yes.it was in a cardboard sleeve and as soon as I slipped the sleeve off it just fell apart. Full of broken bits and disgusting stains. So disappointing as it was for our 40th anniversary and I was excited to be getting such a nice treat. 
It's really turned me off ever ordering again from QVC.
