I am worried as the first jeweler I took it to said that Judith Ripka jewelry usually has rhodium plating on it, and when heated it could turn dark grey and look ugly. He said he could size it but could not say for sure if the color on the band part would change. I wound up sending it to J C Penney jewelers who have done a lot of repairs and sizing with sterling silver. Crossing fingers it will be okay. The first jeweler scared me, I thought maybe he is not used to doing sterling silver especially with the rhodium plating. Anyone else have experience with this? Thanks!
